I woke up at 4:30 this morning to six kittens dancing on my feet. Thumping around the bed like six elephants. How do cats do that? Stealthily, soundlessly catch their prey outside, but run down the hall in the house and do it with enough noise to wake the neighbours? So, I put the kittens out and shut the door. Then Sarah wanted out. So I put her AND Bailey out and shut my door. Then I laid there thinking of how I could improve the goat's stanchion. And then Sarah started whining out my door. So OUTSIDE she went and Bailey ripped out with her, barking. My neighbours are pretty close - just across the road. I hope they were sleeping heavily. She only barked a few times.... I should have just gotten up, but I was so tired last night and I didn't want to be that tired today. I fell asleep long enough to feel annoyed when the alarm went off for me to go out and milk Dash. Crazy morning. But, I"m not too tired. I had a yummy breakfast and am nursing a cappuccino. I don't have a lot of work to do today, so this afternoon I think I'm going to go to the city to buy myself a birthday present :o). I got some birthday money (my birthday was last weekend) this week and I"ve had my eye on a few things so I"m going to go check them out. Here are a few random pictures from this morning,

This is Charlotte. She is a cat-spider living between the storm window and my living room window. I washed all my windows this week except these ones - I'm enjoying her company and feel guilty about turning her out in the cold. We've been getting frost - several times already.
