So, it's about 30 below and these ewes we bought keep on insisting on dropping lambs. Where were the chastity belts in August when this guys rams got out? I 'd like to know. I've got 3 in the house right now. Three out under a heat lamb and one - just one out in the weather loving life and it's wool coat. There is a REASON I choose to lamb in the SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!! Sigh. I'm tired. I'm going to have a quick nap here before the next feeding session. Oh, yeah, so far only two mothers have taken their babies. So I've got FIVE orphans. And did I mention it is 30 below? Pictures to follow when I'm more awake!

Whew! What an experience. I can't imagine having so many babies in that cold weather.
Hi Heather,
Thinking about you here in Ontario. Think of it as an adventure...a very cold adventure. I wouldn't mind trading these quiet times here for some of your excitement. Waiting for those pictures. Pam from Jacobsgate.
Lucky lambs that they have a shepherd to care for them. What a good job you are doing!
Heather, I've been trying to add you to the blogs I read list on my site and every time I get "Fully Woolly" which takes me no where. Does that make any sense to you?
I love how computers save me time.
Blessings, Pam
makes no sense to me, Pam! One thing, though - my blogspot address is a bit different than my title. I spell the "tails/tales" differently in each - it was the only way I could do it when I joined up.
