I'm Baaa'aack!

Yep, it's true. I took my computer in THREE weeks ago. It wasn't even broken, just needed a cleaning and de-frag (whatever that is?), but it's taken that long to get it picked up. Every time I went to town to pick it up, the computer guy wasn't there! Finally I nabbed him on the street yesterday at a community fund raiser. Small towns are great usually. A little laid back, and that is usually good :o), unless you want your computer back.
I feel a little out of touch :o). I've been busy busy busy sewing things for Christmas. I'd love to take photos of it all, but the recipients read my blog, so, it'll have to wait. I also got a new toy and I"ll take a picture of it tomorrow and show it off. It has made my life SO much easier as a shepherd, let me tell ya. Any guesses? Well, one hint is, thanks to this thing, I've gained like 5 pounds in 3 weeks.
And last but totally not least, I've got two new babies - here are their pictures. Boy do they have personality!
The blondie is called Callie and the chocolate one is called Meg.

They are so funny. Usually. Unless you are busy trying to do something and they are trying to help... they are wonderfully food motivated - which can be a good thing - or not, lol. I've separated them from the main white flock because they are so little in comparison, the main herd goes out in the big ol' unsupervised pasture (100s of acres) and I'm afraid I'd lose these two. They blend in just too well to the landscape, as you can see. We have heaps of grass around the buildings, so they get to graze there during the day when I'm at home and then they have their own special pen for at night that is actually attached to the side of my house. Spoiled? I REALLY want to shear them and play with their wool, but we are just a wink away from winter and I think that might not be the best idea. I don't know. I"ve been told by some that it'd be fine, they just take 3 days to 'harden up' and then they're good again. Their fleece is definitely long enough. Who knows.
Well, it's good to be back. Talk at ya soon. :o)
